I wanted to keep my very own music library instead of renting music from a streaming service. Music points at the folders you already have, lists them by title, album and artist, and plays them. That is the whole idea.
Runs where you do
macOS is my main system and the one that is fully supported, but Music also runs on Linux and Windows. If you use one of those and something feels off, please report it.
Built in the open
Music is inspired by iTunes, BeatBox and elementaryOS' Music app. It is under active development and the source is on GitHub, so you can read it, build it with Xojo and shape it to your taste.
